- Lamb In Sweet and Sour Sauce
- (Agnello In Agrodolce)

Ingredients:

- 1,76 lbs (800 grams) lamb cut in pieces
1/4 cup warm water
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
6 peeled tomatoes
1/2 onion
3 spoonfuls extra virgin olive oil
Chopped parsley to taste
Salt and pepper to taste

- Directions:

- Cut the onions and the peeled tomatoes into small pieces.
In a pan heat the olive oil, add the onion and fry it until golden brown.
Add the lamb and cook on medium-high flame until it is golden brown on each side, add salt and pepper to taste.
Add peeled tomatoes, salt and the warm water and cook for 30 minutes about, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon.
Add the white vinegar and sugar, stir and continue to cook for 10 minutes.
Place the lamb on serving plate or individual plates, sprinkle with chopped parsley an serve hot. Serves 4.
